SPORT 2000 rent is certified by TÜV!
Safety during winter sports was a topic of universal concern long before Mr. Althaus’s skiing accident and the discussion about mandatory helmets.
SPORT 2000 stays abreast of these changes. With 600 SPORT 2000 rent shops in Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, the Czech Republic, Germany and Andorra, where skis, boards, boots, poles, helmets and many other items can be hired, this is the largest rental station in the Alps. SPORT 2000 rent would now like to expand its leading role in the field of quality and safety even further and have this documented in black and white. On the initiative of Mag. Johann Lainer, who is in charge of the ski rental sector at SPORT 2000 rent and Josef Stöckl, owner of the SPORT 2000 rent shop in Fieberbrunn, the first SPORT 2000 rent shops will be certified by TÜV in autumn, according to the DIN EN 9001:2008 standard.
This certification is an assurance for the customer that he will get TÜV-certified quality and safety at the SPORT 2000 rent shop. For example, the pre-season electronic check on binding adjustment is an essential criterion for displaying the TÜV sticker. The winter sports equipment must also be permanently kept in perfect condition and all safety standards must be observed. In addition, customer satisfaction will be regularly monitored. This will lead to a process of continual improvement from which the customer, the dealer, the staff and the suppliers all benefit in equal measure.
On Monday, 24th August 2009, the preliminary audit of the experienced SPORT 2000 rent dealer, Josef Stöckl sen., took place in Fieberbrunn and ended with a very positive assessment by TÜV engineer, Ing. Udo Rast. Now everyone is keenly waiting for the next assessments for which numerous SPORT 2000 rent shops have already applied.
Besides the usual inspections for special permits and typification for automobiles, the internationally recognized TÜV also carries out inspections in the field of management systems, cable-car technology and environmental monitoring and measuring technologies.
